A: Yes, we have separate play areas for big dogs and small dogs. We will also play with your dog one-on-one if you want. Just let us know.

A: Absolutely, we have a lot of experience with dogs that don't play well with others. Just let us know and we will work out an exercise regimen specifically for your dog.

A: Absolutely! Just let us know the specifics of the injury and the care your baby needs and we will take care of it.

A: Absolutely not! We will not nickel and dime you for your special needs dog. Provide us the medication and the instructions and we will take care of it. The only medicine we will not administer is shots.

A: No problem. We will gladly feed your dog whatever food you would like. However, there is not a discount in the daily price as a result.

Q: I am worried about feeding my dog "Rena's Home Cooked".
A: Don't worry. Unless your dog is allergic to one of our ingredients, your dog will adjust and frankly will LOVE Rena's Home Cooked. We recommend that you bring some of your dog's normal food which we can mix with Rena's. If your dog has any food sensitivities or special dietary needs we recommend staying on his/her normal diet.

Q: Can I bring a blanket or toy for my dog?
A: Sure thing. Please mark them with your name so we don't mix them up. And please, limit the number that you bring. If you are bringing any bedding, please make sure you wash it ahead of time and ensure that it is flea-free. Please only bring bedding that is machine washable in case of accidents.

A: Yes, Roscoe's Ranch is a licensed commercial kennel in Snohomish County and we are insured by KennelPak, Inc.

Q: What if my dog gets sick while at Roscoe's Ranch?
A: First of all, we are certified by the Red Cross in Doggie CPR/First Aid. Additionally, we have close relationships with several local veterinarians. There are two 24 hour emergency clinics located nearby. If your dog becomes ill, we will try to use your veterinarian if possible. If we can't get to your veterinarian, or they are closed, then we will use our local emergency veterinarian.

Q: Do you give Ranch tours?
A: Yes, just call ahead of time and set up an appointment. As with pick-up and drop-off, we are by appointment only. Because this is also our home, we ask you not to show up unannounced for a tour. Tours are available on Monday and Saturday in the afternoon.

A: Not unless you request it. Your dog will have 80 sq. feet of kennel space to his or herself. We have separate big and small dog off-leash areas but only if you request off-leash play time.

A: Your dog will get more TLC at Roscoe's Ranch than at any of our competitors and it's all included in the price! No extra charges. A typical day will include 3 exercise sessions outside of the kennel (10 min on-leash walk + two 20 min off-leash playtimes). Activities will include off-leash play, trail walks, fetch, etc.

A: Every dog goes out 3 times a day. A typical day will involve an on-leash walk in the morning (~10 min) followed by two 20 minute off-leash play sessions throughout the day. We also tuck them in at night.☺

A: We have yet to find a dog who could resist Rena's Home Cooked food. If your dog is the first, we will certainly work to find something he does like. Don't worry. Your dog will not go hungry at Roscoe's Ranch.

A: Yes. We do not have a problem with unfixed male dogs as long as they are not aggressive towards humans. We will accept an unfixed female but not if they are coming out of or going into a heat cycle.

A: We will accept a recent titer test (within past 12 months) for the Distemper/Parvo vaccination. Your dog needs to have proof of completing their puppy shots and proof of the titer test faxed over from your veterinarian.

A: You can schedule an appointment to pick up or drop off your dog as early as 8:00 AM and as late as 7:00 PM.

A: It is in your dog’s best interest for you to drop him/her off during the day and not wait until nighttime. They will adjust much easier to the Ranch if they have had time to go out and play and to get used to his/her kennel before lights out.

A: We will unload all of your dog’s belongings and label them. We will go over the basic instructions you provided and your contact information. You are more than welcome to get into the kennel and say goodbye to your dog. Please keep in mind that your dog will pick up on your mood. If you are very upset and extend the time it takes to say goodbye, your dog will think something is wrong and he/she will be stressed. Being quick like a band aid is the way to go for your dog’s well being.
